Hulu Plus will not require PlayStation Plus

PlayStation 3 owners (in the United States) were no doubt unhappy when they first heard that Hulu was making its way over to the Xbox 360. This soon turned to happiness when it turned out it was coming to the PlayStation 3 as well, but this too was short-lived as it then transpired that Hulu Plus was touting a ‘PlayStation Plus only’ message.
PlayStation 3 Firmware 3.40 released, full details
Sony has finally released their latest firmware update, bringing the PlayStation 3 software to version 3.40. Amongst other things, this new update brings support for the much-anticipated PlayStation Plus - the premium PlayStation Network subscription service.
