Review: Mafia II
Mafia II is here and ushering in a new era of wise guys and made men. If you’ve been waiting for this one, there is good news – the game is fun. Having shoot-outs in bars while bottles explode and glass flies, finding a mob hacking your friend to death, and going to brothels are all great times. Still, those moments aren’t the entire game, and the accompanying parts hurt the whole.
Official RAGE release date
The developers behind the superb looking shooter, RAGE, have announced the official release date for the game. Are you ready? RAGE will start hitting shelves in America on September 13, 2011. It will then be shortly followed by a European release two days later on September 15, 2011. Mark that date down boys and girls because its sure to be a big one.
Review: Castlevania: Harmony of Despair
At first glance, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair looks like the perfect homage to the Casltevania games of old. It has the same 2D front-sided viewing stance, similar character, enemy and item sprites and a near perfect clone of the dungeon-themed level art style too. Despite first appearances, the game is actually very different than any of its predecessors.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game gets zombie mode
A new video trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World showing off a new mode; zombies! In a trend that seems to be sweeping quite a few games this generations, a zombie-survival game mode has been added to the game to inject a little more life. Uh…or death.
The video trailer which is wittingly entitled ‘What one thing could make the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World game even more awesome?’ is available below for you peruse at your leisure. It also features the code required to unlock the zombie mode, but to save you the time and hassle it simply follows the pattern; DUR DUR DURRR. Where D = down, U = up and R = right. Looks (unsurprisingly) like the sound zombies make, no?
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World has a timed exclusive to release on the PSN on the 10th of August, 2010. The XBLA version will follow a few weeks later.
